Participants
All inner conflict begin with an individual's
perception of their past, present, and probable future, reality. Therefore,
I have chosen to incorporate Intrapersonal conflict resolution as the
starting point. "Conflict begins within. As we unhitch the burden
of beliefs systems and heighten our perception, we love more fully and
freely."(Heitler, cited in Leonard, pg.32)

Process
When an inner conflict occurs, you have
the decision to engage in, avoid, or solve the conflict. You have total
control of the process. When a conflict arises in your mind, the first
thing that you need to do is to ask yourself if the "goal"
is important. If it is, you need to decide if the goal is important
enough to put the relationship "at risk".

Solution
You have the choice to use your positive
energy, or if you want to use your negative energy, or if you want to
give up the goal and remain neutral. When the parties come up with their
own solutions, they are more likely to abide by them. Why is this? It
is because they came to the solutions themselves, they created a reality
for themselves that they could live with.

Advantages
One principal of Conflict resolution is
that the closer the dispute is resolve to the time it occurred, you
will have the least cost in stress, time (obviously) and money. Think
of the possibility of all conflicts being solved the instant that they
occur! "In the Holy Instant, where the Great Rays replace the body
in awareness, the recognition of relationships without limits is given
to you."(ACIM pg300)

Disadvantages
You may cause violence toward yourself
by not pursuing your own needs. There is a balance to avoiding conflicts.
You need to respect yourself, and meet your own needs.

Energy
This communication is the closest to 100%
perfect coherency. At one hundred percent perfect coherency, there would
only be thoughts of love, and nothing would be thought of as a conflict,
only as an opportunity to grow.
1. Channel\Speed:
This is the fastest communication known, closest to 100% speed of thought,
or nearest to the time of occurrence of the thought. Your mind can communicate
with itself faster then any super computer.
2. Encode\Understandability:
You are both the encoder and decoder of the message to yourself, so
it should be 100% understandable.
3. Decode\Acceptability:
You can choose to view a conflict differently. As soon as you feel a
conflict arising, you can decide to choose peace. You have the responsibility
for, and control, over your actions.
4. Message\Importance:
If you encode a message to yourself that "your deepest underlying
interest is peace", then you wouldn't perceive the situation as
being a conflict. The message is 100% important if you listen to and
trust your higher self rather than your ego.
